Why Become a Marketing Consultant?
Whether you’re attracted by the big bucks, the intellectual rigor, the glamour, the work, or a combination of the above, you’re not alone: consulting firms are traditionally among the largest employers of top MBA and college graduates. It’s a high-paying, high-profile field that offers the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility right out of school and quickly learn a great deal about the business world. While hiring is looking up for 2006, expect competition for jobs to be as tough as ever. You’ll need to do your homework to land a job with a top consulting firm. In the meantime, you might have what it takes to get your feet wet here. We’re looking for goal minded leaders which are looking for a rewarding challenge that includes working with smaller businesses.
Send us your resume!
If you have your resume all spruced up in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat format, we’d like to check it out. There are no guarantees that we’ll call you, but you’re never going to know unless you take that chance right? We’re very selective about the people we invite to join our team, but that increases the likelihood of success once someone climbs on board. It’s a two way street.
What we’re looking for:
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Team orientation
- Excitement about consulting
- Knowledge about where YOU want to go in life and how you plan to get there
- Success on the airplane test—would you want to sit next to this person on a long overseas flight?
- Interpersonal skills
- Industry experience
- Leadership qualities
- Desire to work with small businesses
- Dislike of status quo
- History of achievement
- Sports mentality
