Typically, the earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

I recommend utilizing both PPC & SEO until your site ranks well enough (somewhere in or near the top 5 for your primary/money keyword phrase) to phase out the PPC portion of your online marketing campaign. Obviously, you don’t want to cut all of your existing traffic off because that would likely harm your business so including both at this stage is advisable. Just have a plan that allows you to devote enough time to both yet sustain success in your “real” business.

While there are no guarantees of top rankings with organic search, I will guarantee your site will rank a whole lot better for multiple phrases if you implement solid SEO strategies and tactics on a consistent basis like the ones I’ll be sharing in the REMO Training package.

There will be a 30 day money back guarantee on the training package should you become completely convinced that you’ve derived zero value from the training. 🙂

I am currently paying Google approximately $1,000.00 per month for clicks. I am happy with the results of being on the first page most of the time but not terribly happy that it is a sponsored ad. I am curious about SEO but still don’t know enough to either make the shift to SEO only or in conjunction with pay-per-click. Are there any guarantees that SEO can get me on the first page near the top and if so at what cost?

Are you looking for research & analysis on trends and potential future benefits of incorporating social media into your marketing mix?

Mary & Debbe–thank you for responding and participating. Are there any particular SEO terms or concepts you’ve come across that don’t make sense or need a lot of clarification? Since I’ve been doing this for awhile, I probably get caught up in the whole mindset of “they already understand this” and breeze through it when maybe I should dig a little deeper.

John–very good suggestions! Audio CDs are being considered as a part of the home study as I have often found them to be helpful when multi-tasking. I’m definitely including some checklists in the book (there IS a book to accompany the videos with additional books being considered).

Thanks to everyone for participating today. Looking forward to more responses. 🙂

Also, I think the package should be prepared with DVD’s that can be watched as well as accompanied by a work book. The book is always great to reference back to and could just be a condensed transcription of what’s on the DVD.

In addition, if you created a website with downloadable MP3’s of the video, someone could listen while they worked on something else or download them to their computer or ipod. These audios could even be sold at a slight upgrade cost as CD’s that would accompany the package.

Lastly,I think you need to do your teaching as an actual case study using a student’s site and an actual site or two as examples. That would inspire others as well as validate your course.

Please put your course in plain English, if that is possible, given the topic. Is it possible for a neophyte to actually learn to do this, consistently, and to know that the bases have been covered? The “hurrier I go, the behinder I get”.
Help!!!!!

88owls.com runs a budding client search service for business consultants (including marketing consultants). What I’d like to know is what the benefits of creating a social network for our members over our regular service would be in terms of:

– Advertising
– Loyalty
– Lead Generation

This info could help us make some key decisions on how to go forward, especially as we move into the second phase of our service’s growth.

Thanks!
Mike
