Not everyone uses Wordtracker, and even those who do, simply are not understanding the key concepts effectively.

Cover some SEO Myths and Misconceptions, including how to use Social Media Marketing…because NO it is not dead, and Yes it can drive “real” traffic to your website, at the very least, it also serves to push competitors off the top SERPs (search engine results pages).

I would include a “quick” reference. In the comment thread there is a request for “simplicity” – perhaps a quick reference list to guide those who do not feel so comfortable with consulting and the ever allusive Science and Art of SEO.

The SEO Bible is absolutely amazing, however, very detailed. My most favorite “quick list” in the world is your SEO 3.0! Even it is vast in content, so a “quick list” would be a great help.

Perhaps include some resources for encouragement, like inspirational quotes and motivation, as it relates to having the powerful mindset of “Yes, you CAN”. That’s half the battle for many today.

Continue to focus on specialty consulting. In this day and age of economic hardship, Real Estate Matters always need to be addressed (for both consultants and consultees).

I am noticing a weird trend lately. I think bloggers need to be reminded how to “TAG” better for effective SEO/SMO.

A list of top blogs to follow for inspiration and technical guidance.

Instruction on how to sign up for and follow an RSS Feed. (YES, some of us actually need the reminders).

How to set up and manage our “files” effectively, as in, how to keep up with and file all the info we are learning.

Lastly, I would suggest to remind folks that 30-40% of all Google searches are “local” and instruct on how to tap into those numbers where “they” live.

For Consultants specifically, maybe offer some guidance on how to bid and price accordingly for their time and services. Also, discuss how to effectively use special resources for minority and women owned business clients who may be able to receive tons of assistance to help make their business grow and thrive.

Consultants should know where to direct a vast majority of clients for business services of all kinds. This simply rounds out one’s effective use of marketing strategies, not for “some”, but for all.
