Actually, that’s poor grammar. There will be three winners for the REMO Training package for replying with their thoughts and opinions on what would make the training most beneficial.
Phil Bordeaux wins one copy for his response AND stepping up to the plate first. It’s never easy to be the first one to speak up so I appreciate Phil’s willingness to put himself out there. See, it pays to act quickly. 🙂
John Mazzara will be another other winner for outlining a complete package offering. His suggestion of including audio is something that didn’t receive as much consideration as it should have so I’ll work on including audio with the training package. It’s an option that may appeal to enough people to warrant the effort and extra expense.
Earlier in the year, Tego Venturi won a copy of “The SEO Bible” on one of our sister sites. While he’s already received a copy of the eBook associated with that training (his site has soared in the rankings ever since), the video production was halted on that project in order to focus on real estate first. That’s my mistake so he’ll receive a copy of the REMO training for being so patient. He’s in real estate so this offering is likely more relevant anyway.
Congratulations to all of the winners. I’ll be contacting you this week to iron out the details. I just may award another winner if someone steps up and suggests something worthwhile so don’t stop commenting or making suggestions. 🙂
I think what would make the training most beneficial is definitely some Wordtracker instruction. Not everyone uses Wordtracker, and even those who do, simply are not understanding the key concepts effectively.
Cover some SEO Myths and Misconceptions, including how to use Social Media Marketing…because NO it is not dead, and Yes it can drive “real” traffic to your website, at the very least, it also serves to push competitors off the top SERPs (search engine results pages).
I would include a “quick” reference. In the comment thread there is a request for “simplicity” – perhaps a quick reference list to guide those who do not feel so comfortable with consulting and the ever allusive Science and Art of SEO.
The SEO Bible is absolutely amazing, however, very detailed. My most favorite “quick list” in the world is your SEO 3.0! Even it is vast in content, so a “quick list” would be a great help.
Perhaps include some resources for encouragement, like inspirational quotes and motivation, as it relates to having the powerful mindset of “Yes, you CAN”. That’s half the battle for many today.
Continue to focus on specialty consulting. In this day and age of economic hardship, Real Estate Matters always need to be addressed (for both consultants and consultees).
I am noticing a weird trend lately. I think bloggers need to be reminded how to “TAG” better for effective SEO/SMO.
A list of top blogs to follow for inspiration and technical guidance.
Instruction on how to sign up for and follow an RSS Feed. (YES, some of us actually need the reminders).
How to set up and manage our “files” effectively, as in, how to keep up with and file all the info we are learning.
Lastly, I would suggest to remind folks that 30-40% of all Google searches are “local” and instruct on how to tap into those numbers where “they” live.
For Consultants specifically, maybe offer some guidance on how to bid and price accordingly for their time and services. Also, discuss how to effectively use special resources for minority and women owned business clients who may be able to receive tons of assistance to help make their business grow and thrive.
Consultants should know where to direct a vast majority of clients for business services of all kinds. This simply rounds out one’s effective use of marketing strategies, not for “some”, but for all.
Laurel,
You’re awesome!! Your testimonials are always so thoughtful and well written in addition to being helpful. What can I say other than thank you. 🙂
